About Homegrown Homegrown is a half hour programme which highlights one band per week. Apart from exclusive interviews with the bands, this show will also highlight a DIY Segment, an Advice Segment, and Public Review Segment. The viewers will get to see three videos of the band which will be shot in a jam studio while learning more about the band through info the flashed during their performance. Don't think it will just be entertainment; viewers will also be getting valuable insights on music. Apart from stepping into the lives of these bands, ‘Homegrown' also features other short segments which include an equipment/gear review; a DIY segment; music tips; a gig guide, local music news and advice from the musicians themselves. ‘Homegrown' will also be taking it further by going on the road. Here, music fans will be given the chance to meet the bands as well as buy their CD's and merchandise at pre-determined locations all around the country. Plans for exclusive ‘Homegrown' CD racks to be placed at record shops as well as other retail and public outlets are also underway .
